Hostels of UzhNU are provided with heating and hot water
Uzhhorod National University thoroughly prepared for the heating season. They built a modular boiler plant together with the new heating main to provide hostels №1, 2, 3 with heating and running hot water. Specialists of the company "Kalyna IF" from Ivano-Frankivsk were invited to put up and equip the plant.
Vice-Rector for administrative work Dmytro Soyma notes that commissioning operations are being completed, but it does not affect the heat supply. «Previous boiler house belonged to the city and we rented it. The new one belongs to the university that will enable to reduce the cost of heating."
The cost of the new module was 4,300,000 UAH and the cost of the heating main was 1,400,000 UAH. The heating system has been fully updated and now it meets the European standards of quality. At the moment students' homes are warm, hallways are also heated. Students are also supplied with hot water without fail.
