The Ministry of Education supported the projects developed by young researchers of UzhNU
The meeting of the Expert Committee for selection of the projects developed by young researchers working (studying) in higher educational and research institutions subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, chaired by the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Lilia Hrynevych and with the participation of Vice Minister Maksym Strikha, took place on August 15, 2016. The implementation of selected projects begins in August 2016 and they will be financed at the expense of the state budget.
439 projects from 114 Ukrainian universities were submitted for consideration, SHEI "Uzhhorod National University" presented 9 research projects. According to the decision taken by the expert committees, 79 projects (including 2 projects presented by SHEI "UzhNU”) of high and medium levels with the total score of 70 and above will be financed. The state allocated 12 million UAH to finance the young scientists’ projects.
Vice Minister of Education and Science Maksym Strikha noted the relevance of the following projects presented by our university’s researchers:
"The search of "risk index" of progression of atherosclerosis and possible development of thromboembolism in people of different ages" developed by the team of authors: Vasyl Rusyn, Ivan Kopolovets, Oleksandr Lanhazo, Valeriy Mashura, Mykhaylo Pekar and Oleksandr Kochmar under the management of Patricia Boldyzhar.
"Legal mechanisms of ensuring the rights of internally displaced persons in the context of national security and European integration of Ukraine" developed by the team of authors: Maria Mendzhul, Oleksandr Bilash, Yaroslav Stupnyk, Mykola Syusko, Ivan Polyuzhyn and Yulia Panina under the supervision of Oleksandr Rohach.
